'Show desktop' hides screenlets SOLUTION - Ubuntu

If you’re using screenlets on Ubuntu, you might realize that every time you do “Show Desktop” the screenlets will also go minimized. That's quite annoying, as there is no reason for them to go minimized. Some times you even may want to 'show desktop' just to see your screenlets... So:

Here's how to minimize all windows except screenlets when you push 'show desktop' (Ubuntu):

1. Push 'alt' + 'f2'
2. On 'Run Application' window type 'gconf-editor' and press enter.
3. Go  apps > compiz > general > allscreens > options
4. Uncheck "hide_skip_taskbar_windows"

That's it!
