How to install fonts in Ubuntu

 1. Open your terminal ( applications > accessories > terminal )
 2. Paste in the following code and press enter :
gksu nautilus /usr/share/fonts/truetype
 3. In the folder opened paste in any font you want. (you may want to create a new folder "myfonts" and add them there)

NOTE If you’ve already opened a program where you’d like to use your new font, you may have to close and re-open it before it detects the font.
